In light of current health and safety concerns for all attendees, and in consideration of client feedback expressing the same, we transformed the face-to-face element of our Client Conference into an engaging all-virtual experience. Attendees were able to access exclusive platform training with Alkamists and learn from digital banking subject matter experts to adapt to the latest trends. These are some of the highlights from a full day of new feature updates and partnership opportunities that let banks and credit unions on the Alkami Platform chart a path for digital strategy and continued success.
A new look at the digital banking landscape
Members of our Office of the Chief Executive kicked the day off with a lay of the land for the industry, our clients, and the Alkami Platform. CEO Mike Hansen gave the corporate update and reminded attendees how important the work of our remarkable clients is.
Hansen said, “We believe the fabric of our economy is woven through the FIs at this conference — the regional and community banks and credit unions that pour your time, talent, and resources into the local, regional and specialty economies you serve. You have our enduring commitment to do all we can to empower and power your digital strategies and the success of your customers, members, team members, and communities.”
CMO Allison Cerra then shared results of a new Alkami-led research report, Digital Banking Market Pulse: The Increasing Importance of User Experience (UX), which showcases exclusive insights into how the nature of the financial relationship has evolved. The report discusses how the digital banking experience is becoming the core of the industry—and how overall customer satisfaction is tied directly to it.
Stephen Bohanon, Alkami’s co-founder and Chief Strategy and Sales Officer, wrapped up the General Session with an inside look at what we have planned for the Alkami Platform and other products and features. He also introduced Alkami’s new account opening and loan origination solutions with the acquisition of MK Decision. Bohanon rallied clients and Alkamists by saying, “We’re not going to outspend the Megabanks, but what we have that they don’t is the power of the collective, of our community.”
The Road to Autonomous Finance: Personalized Financial Insights
In this session, we discussed how we are increasing user engagement by delivering personalized financial insights. By enhancing our dashboard and Flutter apps, we’re surfacing relevant, actionable information to improve the end user’s ability to manage their finances.
Business Banking on the Alkami Platform
Businesses are more loyal to banks and credit unions that help them efficiently manage their finances in a simple way. Our product team walked attendees through how to earn that loyalty by enabling their business clients to do more in less time.
UX: Designing for Performance
Our user experience (UX) team delivered a deep dive on the Alkami design process to show attendees how we deliver a high-performing experience for users. Our clients learned how we use non-subjective, scientific UX methods to guide our data-driven design decisions and increase user engagement.
Data Driven Marketing and Analytics
Attendees got a first look at how Alkami is building to streamline data consumption, accelerate analytics, and empower the next generation of actionable insights so their financial institution can become data driven.
Extensibility: Accelerating Innovation
Billions of dollars are spent every year on financial services innovation, leading to increasingly personalized and intuitive digital experiences that banks and credit unions struggle to keep pace with on their own. We showed our clients and other financial institutions how to use the Alkami Platform to innovate themselves and quickly take advantage of new ideas in the fintech space.
These are just a handful of the sessions we offered at this year’s all-virtual client conference. While we regret that we had to miss the opportunity to meet with our attendees in person, we intend to move forward with the first hybrid Alkami Client Conference, which will be held April 25-27, 2022 at the Gaylord Texan.
To our client, partner, and Alkamist attendees, we hope you were able to take full advantage of sessions that guided you through what’s next for the Alkami Platform and our industry. Thank you for your attendance and engagement. And of course, thank you to our sponsors. You make our annual client conference happen!
